We have a mission to contribute to share the joy of singing for pleasure, a tradition that endures in Great Britain. We are an adult mixed community choir, welcoming people who are 16 years and over. There are no auditions, and absolutely no requirement to read music or to have previous singing experience. Our emphasis is entirely on singing together, and having fun doing so.
We rehearse on Monday evenings during school term time at Bunbury Primary School.
Elaine Cook, from Market Drayton, has loved singing all her life. Singing with the Royal Holloway College Chapel Choir during her student years and later under Halle Chorus Master Keith Orell. She has dedicated her professional life to music including making music accessible through community choirs such as Just Sing. She leads our weekly sessions with enthusiasm and encouragement.
Alison Moss is our pianist accompanist. She has dedicated her professional life to teaching music to children. She has accompanied instrumentalists, singers and Christmas choirs; Tarporley High School choir and Scouts’ Gang Show. She continues in semi-retirement delivering fun music sessions in pre-schools.
